Babysitting Basics Online will teach the essential skills needed to become a confident and capable babysitter and will include:

• Infant and child care: How to provide safe and attentive care for babies and children, including feeding, handling, and basic needs.
• Safety and emergency readiness: Understanding how to stay safe, respond in emergencies, and handle unexpected situations.
• Age-appropriate activities: Choosing fun, safe, and engaging activities for children of different ages.
• Behavior management: Recognizing and responding appropriately to a variety of child behaviors.
• Starting a babysitting business: Tips and tools to help students build, manage, and promote their babysitting services.

Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED Online will cover the essentials of caring for young children in emergencies and will include:

• First aid basics: How to respond to common emergencies such as choking, bleeding, overdose, and shock.
• CPR and AED training: Step-by-step instruction on providing CPR and using an AED for infants and children.
• Practical online modules: Interactive lessons that build knowledge and confidence without the need for an in-person session.
• Important note: This course does not meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification. For a course that does, students should enroll in the Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED program offered in Blended Learning or Instructor-Led formats.

Advanced Child Care Training Online is designed for youth and adults who want to take their babysitting and child care skills to the next level.
You’ll learn:

Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED Online gives learners the knowledge to respond to a wide range of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants.

• Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies in people of all ages.
• Provide CPR and AED support for infants, children, and adults.
• Handle first aid situations, such as choking, bleeding, and sudden illness.
